It is my judgment, and I will attempt to offer scriptural reasons for it momentarily, that worship is broader than the “five acts” of a typical Sunday assembly, but not broad enough to encompass every act of a faithful Christian.

In this sermon from Revelation 1:4–8, we consider a question that has stirred no small amount of discussion in recent years: Is Jesus worthy of our direct worship and praise? Some have argued that praise should be offered to the Father alone, but Scripture consistently presents a different picture. The honor, glory, and dominion ascribed to the Father belong fully to the Son as well. By all means, worship Jesus.
