What’s new? It’s a question we ask about everything from phones to pickup trucks—but it’s also a question the Bible answers in a far deeper way. In Hebrews 8, the writer points us back to a stunning promise God made through the prophet Jeremiah: a new covenant was coming. Not a repaired version of the old, not a spiritual tune-up, but something genuinely new and better.

In this sermon, we explore what makes the New Covenant truly new. God’s law is no longer etched on stone but written on hearts. Knowing the Lord is no longer a matter of physical birth, but spiritual. And forgiveness is no longer temporary or unfinished—it is complete and final through Christ.

This message walks carefully through Hebrews 8:8–12 and shows why the New Covenant is not just different, but better—and why that truth still matters deeply for disciples today.
